Microsoft has just unveiled its very own digital music service, Xbox Music, which will be available on Xbox game consoles and future Windows 8-based devices that will be launched along with Windows 8.
Xbox Music offers a download-to-own music store featuring an impressive stock of over 30 million songs and 70,000 music videos from around the world. This surpasses iTunes’ current store of over 26 million songs. It also provides users with cloud-storage and music streaming services, which is similar to what other digital music services like Spotify and Amazon MP3 offer.
