Twitter index: verify Matt Hunter, 'Half The Sky'

Half The Sky is a two-part documentary shown on US public television station PBS and aimed at raising discussion about issues facing women, based on the book written by Pulitzer Prize-winning couple Nick Kristof and Sheryl WuDunn.

The program constructed a deliberate strategy to increase the possibility of going viral by holding advance screenings in schools and campuses around the US, as well as running dedicated Facebook campaigns and constructing a strong presence on sites such as Pinterest and Google+. Following the broadcast of Half The Sky, those involved with the project are promoting discussion on Twitter using the hashtag "#HalfTheSky." For more information see: halftheskymovement.org/
