Twitter index: tropical storm Sandy, 'Timeline Photos'

Sandy is causing a buzz on Twitter after the storm turned towards Jamaica, soaking the island with rain on Wednesday morning. The storm has forced the closure of the island's airports, led to a police-enforced curfew and caused many cruise liners to be diverted elsewhere.

Also causing a buzz on Twitter is the latest change to take place on Facebook. The social networking site has changed the name of the automatically created "Wall Photos" album, which compiled images posted on a user's profile, to "Timeline Photos," in line with the network's recently rolled out "Timeline" display.  

Elsewhere on Twitter users are sharing what they most care about with the hashtag "WhatILoveTheMost" and posing questions to Luke Brooks from Australian web-based comedy group the Janoskians using the hashtag #AskLuke.
