Twitter index: Sylvia Kristel, Gucci Mane drops 'Trap God'

Sylvia Kristel was best known for her role as Emmanuelle, the lead character in a series of French erotic movies of the same title. The movies pushed the boundaries of what was considered acceptable on-screen content in the 1970s and proved to be enormously successful, spawning numerous unofficial spin-offs around the world.

Kristel, who became synonymous with the role of Emmanuelle, died of cancer during the night of October 17. On October 18 Twitter users are remembering the actress and the movies, and causing "Sylvia Kristel" and "Emmanuelle" to trend in seventh and eighth position respectively.

Also causing a buzz Thursday is American rapper Gucci Mane, who has just dropped his new mix tape Trap God, which can be downloaded at guccimaneonline.com.
