PSY's track "Gangnam Style" has swept across the internet and, despite being primarily in Korean, won fans around the world. The official YouTube video of "Gangnam Style" now has more than 359 million views and the single reached number one in numerous countries including Australia, New Zealand, the UK, Denmark and Canada, reaching number 2 in the US.

Twitter users are buzzing about PSY's concert in Seoul Plaza, South Korea, which started at 10pm (KST) (1pm GMT) and was streamed live on YouTube. The event is causing "Seoul Plaza" to trend.

Also trending Thursday is "National Poetry Day," a loosely organized event that mainly takes place in Britain but is also celebrated in other countries around the world in early October each year. The event aims to promote the writing, reading, and discussion of poetry.
