Socialite, TV personality and businesswoman Kourtney Kardashian gave birth to Penelope Scotland Disick on Sunday, causing Twitter buzz and pushing the child's name to seventh place in the trending topics. Penelope is the second child for Kourtney Kardashian and her partner Scott Disick; their first child, Mason, is now two years old.

Video game series Assassin's Creed is also causing a buzz after Variety reported that the series could be turned into a film starring Michael Fassbender. The video game series follows a barman who is sent back in time to take possession of the bodies of his assassin ancestors and retrieve a series of articles for the Knights Templar.

England international and Chelsea player John Terry is also causing a buzz on Twitter as he appears in court, charged with racially abusing Queens Park Rangers player Anton Ferdinand. The trial began on July 9 and is expected to last around five days.
