Twitter index: Janoskins' Luke goes on follow spree, Timberlake drops single

Luke Brooks, member of popular Australian YouTube comedy group and entertainment outfit the Janoskins, caused a stir among his fans on Twitter by embarking on a mass adding of other Twitter members.

Brooks (@luke_brooks) had been hinting at going on a follow spree over the past few days, then earlier on Monday sent the following tweet: "RETWEET this for a follow #LukeBrooksFollowSpree." Fans of the Janoskins quickly began spreading the news of Luke's follow spree, pushing "Luke" into seventh position in the top ten trending topics.  

Also causing a buzz on Twitter is singer and actor Justin Timberlake who, after a series of cryptic messages, dropped his new single "Suit and Tie," which can be heard at countdown.justintimberlake.com.

Timberland also announced in an open letter to his fans that he will be releasing a new album, titled "The 20/20  Experience," later this year.

Also causing a buzz on Twitter is Pedro Lucas, the vocalist and guitarist of popular Brazilian pop-rock band Restart, who celebrates his birthday on Monday.
