Obama vs Romney

The first of three Presidential Election debates between the Democrats and the Republicans has generated lots of heat online, with users poking fun at Obama, Romney and even the moderator!

One of the most memorable moments was when Romney said that he would slash funding for PBS, the TV network that gives life to the cheerfully yellow Big Bird of Sesame Street fame.

That was when all hell broke loose on social media, with most netizens showing support for their feathery friend. One user even started a 'Save Big Bird' campaign.
