The weird, wacky and outrageous – here is a list of the worst gadgets we have seen thus far in 2012.

 Adidas Social Media Barricade Shoe

In tribute to the London 2012 Olympic Games, Adidas teamed up with Nash Money to create the Adidas Social Media Barricade. Apart from incorporating a phone into the shoe, they even went further to weave in a 2-line LCD screen on the side that showed text and tweets that were sent to the phone’s account. Adidas was also quick to dub the shoe as "future of athlete connectivity," although I’m not really sure how athletes can stay connected with something that is cushioning their feet
