Lot's of 'world's bestest ever' type pronouncements get bandied around at CES, but we're pretty sure this one is accurate: the Huawei Ascend P1 S really is the world's thinnest smartphone. At just 6.68mm thick, it makes even the likes of the Samsung Galaxy S2 look positively porky. Its 4.3-inch Super AMOLED screen is also a real beauty, and a dual-core processor, coupled with Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich, means it's faster than a fox on roller-skates. An eight-megapixel rear camera with dual-LED flash and full 1080p HD video capture is also on-board. And like most products announced at CES, we were doubtful of ever seeing a full release. Thankfully we can now rest easy as the Ascend P1 is now available to order online and in shops.
