One Laptop per Child has a noble aim in mind for its products: to give every child in the world access to modern computing equipment. The organisation's laptops have already been distributed to more than 2.4 million children in 42 countries and at CES 2012 it announced the latest addition to the range. The XO 3.0 is a low-cost, low-power tablet designed for classrooms everywhere. Its unique charging circuitry means it can be charged by solar panels, hand cranks and other alternative power sources. The price? Just $100.
