Samsung launches new interactive edutainment apps
Xinmsn recently had an exclusive preview of Samsung Electronics' latest suite of edutainment applications at a launch event. During the event, Mr Winston Goh, Senior Product Marketing Manager, Mobile Communications, Samsung Asia, shared how research pointed the future of education and learning towards platforms that are "on-the-go", digital, more interactive and entertaining. He also spoke about Samsung's content strategy with the app developer community in working towards the creation of rich and interesting educational content.
"Samsung has always encouraged learning, believing in the value it brings and thus we are optimistic that these new applications will enhance the learning experience as a whole", says Mr Goh.
The suite of edutainment apps include Mandarin Speaking Skills for Kids, Zalairos Adventures' e-books for vocabulary, reading and comprehension, Skoolbo Core Skills for Math and Language, and PREPTEST's multi test application for GMAT(Graduate Management Admission Test) and SAT (Scholastic Aptitude Test) .
In addition, Samsung also launched their latest GALAXY beam and GALAXY ACE 2 smartphones at the event.
