"The Elder Scrolls Online" takes place 1,000 years before the hit game "The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim" and today opened for beta testing registrations. Potential players who wish to be among the first to sample "The Elder Scrolls" action have to head over to signup.elderscrollsonline.com. To register as beta testers, users have to answer numerous questions about their game-playing experience, with a progress bar on the left-hand side of the screen indicating how likely applicants are to be selected based on their answers.

"The Elder Scrolls" online developer Zenimax Online Studios also dropped a 5:48 cinematic trailer which is available to watch at youtube.com/watch?&v=0jNT5cMwxw0.

The trailer shows plenty of the action gamers have come to expect from the Skyrim fantasy series of games, where magical powers meet medieval weapons and men and beasts inhabit the same land.

Also causing a stir on Google+ is Valentine's Day. Though the romantic occasion may still be several weeks away, Google+ users are already sharing creative ways to make February 14 just that little bit more special. Kelly Innes shares a post on "32 Loveable Valentines Books for Kids" while user Jessie Johnson posts some creative nail art ideas for the big day.
