Google+ trends: Samsung causes buzz after IFA, Clijsters retires

At a special Samsung Mobile Unpacked event, tied in with consumer electronics fair IFA in Berlin, Samsung revealed a number of new devices, including the world's first Windows 8 phone (Ativ S) and the Android-compatible Galaxy Camera. Google+ users are buzzing about the news, sharing pictures of the devices unveiled by Samsung.

Also causing a buzz Thursday is Belgian tennis player Kim Clijsters whose career sadly came to an end on August 29 after losing her US Open singles match to British 18-year-old Laura Robson.

Before the tournament Clijsters had made it clear that the US Open, which had been the scene of some of her greatest successes, would be her last competitive event.
