Google+ trends: Rafael Nadal defeated, Nexus 7 reviews

Google Plussers are surprised to hear that Nadal, a former number one player, was beaten by 100th ranked Rosol.

Google+ users are asking “wait...what? Nadal got beaten in the 2nd Round of Wimbledon??” while others add, “Yeah, this has to be one of the greatest upsets in recent tennis history. Well at least in my lifetime.”

G+’ers all over the world are reviewing videos of some of the biggest announcements at Google’s I/O developers conference.

Google’s 7” Nexus 7 Android tablet has been hugely popular with people on the social networking site. Google has set up a Nexus page on Google+ and users are sharing the link with their followers.

Preliminary reviews of the tablet are also being posted on the site. The response is overwhelmingly positive with Plussers posting, “I've been playing with the #nexus7 nonstop now. Amazing device. Huge potential. Has legs. What's incredibly clear? Google has come a long way with respect to UX design. Apple clearly has a reason to be worried” and “They weren't kidding about the buttery smooth UI, it's so madly improved over ICS and Gingerbread it's truly breathtaking.”

People are also enthused about the new offline feature in Google Docs, the launch of Android 4.1 Jelly Bean, Chrome for iOS, the full I/O opening day keynote, which is now available on YouTube, and Google’s experimental Project Glass demo.
