Google+ trends: Project 52, Apple denies cheaper iPhone

Project 52 is an online interactive photography workshop that assigns weekly photography challenges to members. Each assignment is taken from real-world projects that professional photographers could be expected to undertake. Members of the project simply follow the brief given each Sunday/Monday and upload their images, which are then critiqued by experts in order to help participants improve their technique.

Interested participants can sign up to the project at any stage.

This week Google + users are discussing their black and white photography assignment under the top trending topic "#P52B&W13."

Apple's iPhone 5 is also trending on Google+ today, thanks in part to rumors this week that the company would expand into producing cheaper versions of its iconic phones in the future.

However, Apple executive and head of global marketing Phil Schiller stepped in to deny the rumors, claiming that lower-priced products would not be a part of Apple's future projects.
