Google+ trends: Nokia plans to sell headquarters, India out of Twenty20 series
The Nokia news surfaced in the Finnish-language paper Helsingen Sanomat; the handset manufacturer then later confirmed to TechCrunch that it was evaluating this option. However Nokia also stated that it was not planning to leave Finland and may consider leasing back the building after the sale.
The proposed sale comes at a time when the company is planning to cut around $2 billion by the end of 2012 -- cuts that have seen the loss of numerous jobs and various assets.
For the second consecutive day this week Google+ users are also talking about their Halloween preparations, including costume ideas and Halloween-themed recipe ideas.
"South Africa" is also trending after losing to India in the World Twenty20 cricket series. Despite India's victory the team is now out of the competition as, after Pakistan beat Australia by 32 runs, India beat South Africa by too small a margin to push the team through to the next stage.
