Google+ trends: New Year’s resolutions, Facebook concept re-design
The re-design concept of Facebook by designer Fred Nerby is partly the reason why the social networking site is trending in fifth place on Google+ today.
The design (which can be viewed at http://goo.gl/F1rQm) is causing a stir on the net and has been featured on several tech blogs.
Nerby's concept features a more fluid layout, with horizontal page scrolling, more prominent photos and a black, rather than white, background behind Facebook's light blue foreground.
Elsewhere on Google+ users are talking about their New Year's resolutions, and in some cases whether or not they have succeeded in keeping them, despite the fact that it's only January 4.
