Google+ trends: Love Your Body, latest version of Ubuntu
Wednesday, October 17 saw the 15th anniversary of the NOW Foundation's Love Your Body campaign. The campaign was started by the US's NOW (National Organization for Women) to raise awareness of the dangers posed by acceptance of the beauty and media industries' narrow definition of female beauty.
Google+ users have been supporting NOW's campaign by sharing images of body shapes that may not fit into the media's definition of female beauty but nonetheless are considered beautiful by the posters.
Also causing a buzz Thursday is free, open source, Linux based operating system Ubuntu. The latest version of the software, Ubuntu 12.10, was released Wednesday and the name for the forthcoming 13.0 update was revealed to be "Raring Ringtail."
