Google+ trends: Lewis Hamilton moves to Mercedes, 'Last Resort' premieres

Hamilton has caused waves in the world of Formula 1 after moving from McLaren to rival Mercedes, having been with McLaren since the age of 13 and won numerous titles with the team. His move to Mercedes is worth a rumored $100 million, making him one of the sport's highest paid stars.

Also causing a buzz today is the new TV series Last Resort, which premiered September 27 on ABC. The premise of the show is that the crew members of a US nuclear submarine are declared enemies of their own country after questioning, and ultimately refusing, orders to launch an attack on Pakistan. They are then attacked by their compatriots and forced to set up a temporary base on a fictional Pacific island from which they must defend themselves and prove their innocence.

The show has received generally positive reviews on Google+: user John Ward calls it "fantastic," Curt Thompson says "one of the strongest pilot episodes I've ever seen"  and ShenKuo Phoenix simply says "A must watch freaking show!!!"
