Google+ trends: 'Iron Man 3' trailer, iPad Mini

Tech fans will be watching Apple's announcement with great interest later today as the company is hotly tipped to release a smaller version of its successful iPad tablet.

Despite not officially confirming anything, Apple is expected to unveil the iPad Mini at a press event Tuesday, with expectations furthered by a recent Apple press invitation which read "we've got a little more to show you." Rumor round-ups on sites such as Techradar suggest that prices for the still-rumored device could be anywhere from $200 to $300.  

Meanwhile, the latest trailer for the forthcoming third installment in the Iron Man series, which hit YouTube on October 22, shows Robert Downey Jr. in his third incarnation as Iron Man and a glimpse of the film's mysterious villain The Mandarin. According to the synopsis of the trailer posted by Marvel UK, "When Stark finds his personal world destroyed at his enemy's hands, he embarks on a harrowing quest to find those responsible. This journey, at every turn, will test his mettle." Iron Man 3 is expected to hit the big screen in April 2013.
