Google has added North Korea to its mapping service, causing a stir on the software giant's own social network on Tuesday, January 29.

The hermit state of North Korea was previously just displayed as a blank on Google Maps.

Thanks to a collaborative crowdsourcing effort, known as Map Maker, between Google and citizens interested in North Korea, details of the country, including some of its city-sized prison camps, now feature on Maps.

Also causing a buzz on Google+ is Valentine's Day. Despite the holiday's being over two weeks away, Google+ users are already sharing romantic ideas, recipes and even fashion tips for the big day.
