Google+ trends: Christmas 2012, Steve Jobs

This January it is widely expected that the new biopic of former Apple CEO Steve Jobs, simply titled Jobs, will be screened at the closing day of the Sundance Film Festival. The film stars Ashton Kutcher, who himself is a keen tech fan, and covers Steve Jobs' life over the period of 1971 to 2000.

Elsewhere on Google+, users of the social network are sharing festive images, discussing plans, and compiling present wish lists under the hashtag "Christmas2012," sharing pictures of people using "#PortraitTuesday" and talking about the South African cricket team.

South Africa's cricket team recently beat Australia in the test series to retain its number one World ranking. The test series also signaled the end of Australian batsman Ricky Ponting's 17-year playing career.
