Google has just introduced their latest US$249 (SGD$303) Samsung Chromebook at an event in San Francisco yesterday. The newly unveiled Chromebook will be available for orders on the Google Play store starting next week.

Considering the laptop’s ultraportable build that has been tagged at just US$249, it is clear that Google designed the Chrome OS-based device with the intention of it becoming everyone’s everyday laptop. And based on first impressions, it seems like Google stands a good chance of achieving this goal with its new Chromebook.

Not only does the product come with an extremely affordable price, Google’s 11.6-inch Chromebook also boasts pretty impressive performance capabilities and features to boot.
