Optical specialist Vuzix was giving attendees to CES Unveiled a glimpse of the future with its latest high-tech eyewear, the Vuzix Smart Glasses M100, its Bluetooth powered rival to Google's Project Glass.

When we say "glimpse of the future" what we actually mean is a glimpse of the hear and now, for the M100 is capable of displaying your smartphone or tablet's data in front of your eyes virtually.

Labelled "the first hands free personal display" by its makers, the M100 eyepiece packs an integrated camera and a processing engine running Android and hook up with your mobile device using Bluetooth or Wi-Fi. In fact, the M100 glasses don't even need a paired device, they are capable of running apps on their own.
