E3 2013

What: The Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3, geddit?) takes place every year in the city of angels and is, without doubt, the biggest gaming expo of the year in terms of importance. And 2013's show promises to bigger and better than ever - if the rumour mill is anything to go by that is. For E3 2013 is the likely launch platform for the next-generation Xbox and, if we're really lucky, a new PlayStation as well.

Likely launches: As well as the hope of two brand new eighth-gen consoles, E3 could also be the springboard for a new 3D Mario game, a new Halo trilogy collection and a fourth Fable title.
