A mistake from M1 in a full page advertisement on The Straits Times has set off chuckles amongst Singapore's netizens.
The ad, promoting their GAMEPRO fibre broadband service, instructed readers to either visit their website or call their hotline.
Unfortunately for M1, the number stated in the ad was 1633, the customer care hotline for competitor StarHub. The correct number is 1623.
M1's faux pas begs us to ask the question: Why is there such a small difference in hotline numbers? There should be a bigger difference to escape mistakes like this.
