It feels like Apple’s iWatch has been with us for months, what with the endless trail of gossip and rumours that have consumed tech watchers since late 2012. While some had hoped the smart watch would be out this year, it appears Apple is gunning for an autumn 2014 release date.
The wearable wonder is believed to use a flexible display, with fitness-focused features coming preloaded. Battery life will be boosted by utilising low-powered Bluetooth, allowing the iWatch to connect to an iPhone and hoover up info such as emails, texts and app notifications.
Expect it to be a more fully realised version of Samsung’s disappointing Galaxy Gear.
