Despite being laden with praise for its One smartphone, HTC’s had a tough 2013. Samsung and Apple have put on the squeeze and the Taiwanese tech titan is in a fight for survival.
The company will be hoping its new flagship phone, codenamed the HTC M8, will help lift its fortunes. Much like the HTC One, it’s due to rock an aluminium, unibody design and an Ultra Pixel camera. However, its screen is set to clock in at a larger five inches, with a speedier Qualcomm processor under the hood.
That M8 name is set to change too. Word is the phone will take a bow at February’s Mobile World Congress bash.
