Why we think they would be a waste of your money
Launched at the 2012 edition of the Geneva Motor Show, the popular Renault Twizy could finally make its appearance on Singapore’s roads this year – that is, after the Land Transport Authority (LTA) decides how to classify the vehicle.
While the local distributor of the Twizy is pushing for the electric quadricycle to be classified as a motorbike, word on the grapevine is that the LTA could place the vehicle in the Category A car segment, jacking its price to over $90,000 from around $25,000 if placed in the former.
While the cute Twizy might turn a few heads on our roads, we reckon it might not be as practical as originally thought. Click on to know why, as well as our list of other cars that would be impractical to be driven on Singapore’s roads.
