From the ocean-kissed coasts, through the tropical forests and out across the stark, sun-baked beauty of the interior, in its tiny settlements and throbbing modern metropolises, Australia was in mourning. The Holden Ute was no more - until now.

A new Holden Commodore Ute - The Special Edition Storm Ute - has been built to replace the it. Today’s version of the Aussie pick-up hero may not be the last of the line and its arch-rivalry with the Ford Falcon ute will not end.

Although Holden had called time on the pick-up truck that defined a nation and despite a 30 percent drop in sales in 2013, due to cheaper foreign imports, it's back with another crack at the market.

Let’s chuck a new prawn on the barbie, break out the didgeridoos and cuddle a koala as we celebrate all that’s great in the wonderful world of the pick-up truck.
