AMS Alpha 10 R35 GT-R

American tuning shop AMS Performance has really got into the Nissan GT-R R35. Its Alpha 10 package more than doubles the horsepower of the standard Nissan VR38 V6 engine, to a claimed 1,100bhp. The car's recent quarter-mile time of 9.19 secs at 163mph makes that figure perfectly believable.
