Just when we thought even the most powerful of hot hatches were all turning a bit boring (exhibit 1: the 280hp SEAT Leon Cupra), Honda has arrived at the 2014 Geneva Motor Show with an utterly insane-looking new Civic Type R concept.

The only way the design team could have fitted a bigger rear wing is if they’d applied for planning permission.
