The Cadillac ELR is destined to be the first Extended Range Electric Vehicle launched by a luxury brand when it goes on sale in 2014. Its 16.5kWh battery provides a range of 35 miles (approx. 56km), with a further 300 miles (approx. 483km) thanks to an on-board petrol engine recharging the power source. It's arguably one of the finest looking EVs ever, helped by a muscular stance, 20-inch alloy wheels and LED lights.
