Lincoln MKC Concept

Some won't remember the Mercury Mariner, a chromier Ford Escape only sold in the United States, but it wasn't exactly a blazing success. Now that Mercury is dead everywhere, it's prestige brand Lincoln's turn for a compact SUV based on the Escape. The good news? The all-new Escape is a very well engineered machine and a good basis for an upscale model with its turbocharged engines. And given how dissimilar the all-new Ford Fusion and Lincoln MKZ look despite being based on the same mechanicals, the new MKC should stand out as more than just a chromier Ford.
