Detroit Motor Show 2013: What we're most excited to see
Acura MDX Prototype

Given that the Acura MDX is one of the company's best-selling models, it wouldn't make sense for the three-row crossover to change that dramatically from one generation to the next. So, we can probably expect that the current 300-horsepower 3.7-litre V6 and standard all-wheel drive will return along with the six-speed automatic transmission. However, judging from Acura's sketch, the exterior will get a sharp freshening, with what appear to be larger front intakes, along with reshaped headlights flanking the company's 'shield' grille. And don't forget this is 'Prototype' so there's plenty that can be changed before production.
