It's hard to believe that only five years ago, the North American International Auto Show was on the verge of disappearing. Bankrupt car makers, a building recession, global belt-tightening and more all meant there was a pall over the whole event. For 2013, the number of new or significantly revised production vehicles - not to mention the concepts - is crazily high, and the quality appears strong too.
