Bond cars on a budget
Ford Mustang
FordShow Thumbnails
Laying your hands on a mint condition 1971 Ford Mustang Mach 1 like the one James Bond drove into an alley on two wheels in Diamonds are Forever (before emerging on the other two in a glaring continuity error) could require a €40,000 (S$62,500) budget. Fortunately, there are plenty of newer, less desirable models carrying the famous pony badge that can be yours for a lot less.
The fuel-guzzling V8 engines in these American imports make them an acquired taste and it's possible to own a passable Ford Mustang for €3,700 or a very nice one for €12,500.
