Samsung Ativ S

Samsung has had quite the IFA so far, and it isn't stopping yet. It also used the trade show to unveil a whole host of Windows 8 kit, including the Ativ S - the first Windows 8 phone to be officially announced. It features a 4.8-inch HD screen, 1.5GHz dual-core processor and an eight-megapixel camera with 1.9-megapixel front-facing snapper. You can choose between 16GB and 32GB storage options and - in a rare move from Samsung - the Ativ S will come lovingly wrapped in a premium brushed-aluminium chassis.
