Alongside CES, CeBIT and Computex, IFA is one of the world's biggest consumer electronics trade shows. IFA attracted 1,440 exhibitors and 238,000 visitors in 2011, generating 3.7 billion euros worth of orders. The event is a technology lover's paradise and also serves as a launchpad for many new innovative consumer appliances.

Nokia World is the Finnish-based phone maker's annual gathering to showcase new products and outline technological developments that are crucial to the company's future. The event will highlight forthcoming trends in the mobile arena and will give participants the opportunity to go hands-on with the company's latest products. Like Research In Motion’s BlackBerry World (May) and Dell World (December 11-13) the event also includes hands-on sessions for developers.
