Over 100,000 in China pre-order iPhone 5 in less than 24 hours

Expected to launch officially on December 14, the iPhone 5 has been generating a huge buzz in China.

According to Sina.com.cn, China Unicom started taking pre-orders for the device on Monday morning and within 24 hours had passed the 100,000 mark.

China is one of over 50 new countries the iPhone will be coming to before the end of 2012. On Friday, December 7 it will officially arrive in South Korea, and by the end of December it will also be on sale in 100 countries worldwide, including Brazil, Russia, Taiwan, Chile, South Africa, Barbados and Vietnam.
