MWC 2013: Samsung

Will MWC 2013 be the platform for the much anticipated launch of the Samsung Galaxy S4? Nope, that’ll happen at its own dedicated (and no doubt high-profile) event – most likely in March.

But that doesn’t necessarily mean it will be a quiet show for the Korean giant with plenty of juicy MWC launch rumours doing the rounds – despite there being no scheduled press conference for the company.

Another member for the Note family is tipped to arrive – the 8-inch, Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0. And the Tab range could see a new addition courtesy of the Samsung Galaxy Tab 3. The former would be a stylus-based device, the latter a mid-range tablet that’s tipped to have an 8-inch, 1280 x 800 HD display.

There’s also whispers that Sammy might take the covers off of a bendy phone (after all, it showed off flexible displays at CES) or perhaps even a folding handset with dual-screens.
