Motorola recently outed its new RAZR HD Android smartphone and we were on hand in Barcelona at MWC to take a look.

The Motorola RAZR HD is certainly not lacking in the specs department. Underneath that vast 4.7-inch Super AMOLED 720p HD display, you’ll find 4G smarts for ensuring lightning fast web access on the move and the latest edition of Google’s Android operating system, Jelly Bean.

Already renowned for serving up doughty smartphones, Motorola has also ensured the RAZR HD can handle the rough and tumble of everyday life with a Gorilla Glass screen and a Kevlar fibre coating round the back.

On top of that, Motorola says the battery will keep on kicking for a whole day on a single charge. What’s more, a special ‘Smartactions’ function will help you easily boost your battery in one place, toning down screen brightness and switching off apps in order to conserve power.

Just 8.4mm thin, the latest RAZR also boasts an 8-megapixel camera that can shoot HD video and there's a front-facing 1.3-megapixel camera for all your Skype and video calling need.

The Motorola RAZR HD is up for grabs now, clocking in at around £400 (S$750). In the meantime click through the gallery for our hands-on pictures of the RAZR HD...
