At the big BlackBerry launch that was held simultaneously in New York, Toronto, London, Paris, Dubai, and Johannesburg on 30 January, the Canadian company unveiled a new operating system, two new smartphones and a brand new name... that name being BlackBerry (it used to be called Research in Motion).
And while the BlackBerry Z10 caused the most fuss with its impressive spec sheet, the more traditional looking BlackBerry – the BlackBerry Q10 – played second fiddle.
There’s a few of reasons for that; firstly the Q10 isn’t due for a release until April at the earliest, secondly that BlackBerry was keeping its cards very close to its chest when it came to revealing the all-important spec-sheet of the Q10 and lastly, because BlackBerry had an enormous number of Z10s on show after the event and not a solitary Q10.
However, there was one in the room – in the hands of a BlackBerry employee – and xinmsn Tech tracked it down.
