How to determine which version of Windows you have

Click on the the Windows Start menu.

Select My Computer/Computer from the menu bar.

The next screen will display the disk drives and other hardware connected to your computer.

Right-click anywhere within the white space (don't click on any icons).

Highlight 'Properties' and click to open.

Ta-da! You will be presented with the System screen which handily includes all of the basic information about your computer.
