Audi Unveils Smallest SUV To Date

Going large isn't always the best idea when it comes to cars in Singapore, especially with our oft-crowded roads and narrower car parks. Still, as far as family cars go, SUVs have become an increasingly popular choice. And really, why not go for compact when you have the option to without losing that SUV charm?

It may be the smallest in its range, but the Audi Q3 still provides every bit the premium ride of its larger siblings. It's sporty and versatile with a large trunk (460 litres) and seats that fold down (bringing the luggage capacity up to 1,365 litres), though with the early dip of the low roof, you might have to watch the height of things you put in the back.

Immediately recognisable as a member of the Audi family, the Q3's coupé-like lines are an expression of its sporty character.

The Q3 is as well-equipped as ever, with an adaptive light system, panoramic glass roof, and park assist system. It even has a side assist as well as a lane assist that makes changing lanes and staying in the right path that much easier. And a system that could help us parallel park? We're sold.

The stylish interior of the Audi Q3 is enough to please any discerning car owner. It comes in a wide variety of materials and colours, offering customers countless possibilities to express their personal style.

Bose surround sound and a hard drive-based navigation system make the Audi Q3 experience one that is more than just functional. It is every bit about the quality of pleasure and design to boot.

Lastly, safety is a concern Audi has definitely given attention to, with fasten seatbelt reminders for both the front and rear seat passengers, as well as a maximum five-star rating for passive crash safety.

The Audi Q3 launched in Singapore on 25 August 2012 at the following prices:

Audi Q3 2.0 TFSI quattro 170bhp at $221,988 incl. COE Audi Q3 2.0 TFSI quattro 211bhp at $234,988 incl. COE
