Sony launches new VAIO T and Z Series

Sony recently unveiled its full Summer 2012 line up, including the highly anticipated VAIO Z series and Sony's first Ultrabook, the VAIO T Series.

Ultrabooks definitely seems to be all the rage at the moment with their slim and light nature, being the perfect solution for today's modern working world. So it's about time Sony entered the market with an ultrabook to boast about.

The brand's flagship Ultrabook model, the VAIO T series, certainly sits on par with the current models in the market. Light, durable and packing impressive specifications, the new Sony VAIO T Series is perfect for the busy professional on-the-go.

Style, power and portability all-in-one

The in-built "Rapid Wake + Eco" functions allows the ultrabook to boot up from sleep mode in less than 2 seconds, a very useful function given our modern need for speed. The VAIO T Series also scores highly for its efficient performance, thanks to its hybrid HDD and SSD (solid-state drive). This unique hybrid system allows for greater storage capacity and faster data retrieval, which means that you longer have to wait for an application to start up.

Sporting a sleek, matte aluminum finishing, the VAIO Series T looks every bit the chic ultrabook it was slated to be. Its unique hexagonal body makes for a modern look while the compact chassis ensures maximum durability at the lightest weight.

Style, power and portability all-in-one

While the VAIO T Series impressed us with its stylish design and performance; the concurrently launched VAIO Z Series also caught our eye. You may remember our article on the new Sony VAIO Z Series a few weeks back, and we can safely say that the actual deal is definitely worth the hype.
