Samsung Series 9 Ultrabook Launched in Asia

Earlier this March 2012, we announced Samsung's expected launch of their new Series 9 notebooks . Touted as a serious contender to the Macbook Air , we were excited to finally test out the new Samsung Series 9 notebooks and needless to say, the product does live up to the hype.

The stylishly sleek notebook weighs in at only 1.16kg (for the 13-inch model) and is thin enough to slip into a conventional manila folder. These two attributes would no doubt be attractive to the professional on-to-go craving hassle free and lightweight travel.

The perfect laptop for the busy professional

Each individual component, from keyboard to LCD panel, had been carefully developed to achieve the highest premium design without compromising on performance and functionality. Hidden within its ultra thin chassis is a respectable four gigabyte of RAM and 400nit SuperBright HD display. This will allow you to run your daily essentials at ease.

Performance wise, the new Samsung Series 9 runs like a dream, with its Fast Start function ensuring that no time is wasted while booting up your notebook. It takes only 9.4 seconds to boot up and 1.4 seconds to come out of sleep mode, something that will definitely benefit the busy professional.

The Samsung Series 9 starts from USD1400 and will be available in Asia from 3 June 2012.
