The UI has a massive social element and Sony has teamed up with Facebook and Ustream in order to create what it is calling “the first social gaming network”.

Your contacts in your PlayStation Network are much more real-life that you’re probably used to with your console and that’s because it takes info directly from existing social networks.

You can, of course, play anonymously with people that you don’t know.
