Instagram is a photo sharing application that has been downloaded more than 27 million times since the first version was released in late 2010 by the San Francisco startup. Initially only available on the App store for Apple's iPhones, iPads, and iPod touch devices, a much awaited Android version of Instagram was also recently released.
